Indiana High School Basketball - Cowan ripped by Yorktown

The Yorktown Tigers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Cowan Blackhawks to 25 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Castle for a contest on Thursday, January 19. Yorktown will meet a Trojans team coming off a 63-33 non-league win over Rushville (Rushville, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 7-5.
The Blackhawks (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Wells (Poneto, IN). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Southern Wells was routed by Daleville (Daleville, IN), 44-26, in a non-league contest.
