In Saturday's non-league outing, the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) basketball squad felled the visiting Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM), by a margin of 47-37.
The Broncos (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Miyamura was beaten by Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 58-39, in a non-league outing.
The Hawks now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tohatchi for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17.
