The Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA), 70-43 in Saturday's league test.

The Panthers (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA). The Pirates go into the test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Stone Mountain was trounced by Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA), 58-53, in a league test.

The Jaguars now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to McNair for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 18. Stephenson will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 69-36 non-league loss to Columbia (Decatur, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-6.
