Fort Meade Miners (Fort Meade, FL) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Okeechobee Brahmans (Okeechobee, FL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Miners confront the Avon Park Red Devils (Avon Park, FL) in a challenge, on Monday, January 16. Fort Meade will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record.
The Brahmans now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. Okeechobee will confront a Eagles team coming off a 4-0 league win over Port St. Lucie (Port St. Lucie, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
