Next, the Longhorns face the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region 3 District 20 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. George Ranch will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 1-1 non-league Memorial (Houston, TX).

The Falcons now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Magnolia for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. Royal will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Fulshear (Fulshear, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
