The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Laurel Golden Tornadoes (Laurel, MS) and the visiting Jim Hill Tigers (Jackson, MS), saw Laurel's soccer squad knock off Jim Hill by a margin of 3-1.

The Golden Tornadoes now sport a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne County for a 5A Region 5 test on Tuesday, January 17. Laurel will meet a War Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over South Jones (Ellisville, MS). The War Eagles record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Jim Hill drops to 0-4 on the season.
