Louisiana High School Soccer - St. Charles Catholic knocks off Livonia

The St. Charles Catholic Comets soccer team scored 6 points and limited the visiting Livonia Wildcats to 3 in the Comets non-league victory on Saturday.

Next, the Comets face the Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA) in a Division IV District 6 contest, on Monday, January 16. St. Charles Catholic will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 8-6 record after their 1-1 non-league Morgan City (Morgan City, LA).

The Wildcats now have a 5-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belaire for a Division III District 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. Livonia will confront a Bengals team coming off a 5-0 league loss to University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bengals record now stands at 9-6.
