The Bishop Kearney Kings basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Bishop Grimes Cobras to 66 in the Kings non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Kings now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marcellus for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Bishop Kearney will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 64-40 non-league win over Utica Academy of Science (Utica, NY). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-1.
The Cobras (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Utica Academy of Science (Utica, NY). The Atoms enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Utica Academy of Science was edged by Marcellus (Marcellus, NY), 64-40, in a non-league bout.
