The Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Paramus Catholic Paladins to 43 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Stroudsburg North for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Mt. St. Michael Academy will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 76-47 non-league loss to Whitehall (Whitehall, PA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 8-4.

The Paladins (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ). The Ironmen enter the Big North - United contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Don Bosco Prep was defeated by Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY), 74-67, in a non-league contest.
