In Sunday's non-league outing, the Neighborhood Academy (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Valley Vikings (New Kensington, PA), by a count of 77-52.
The (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Summit Academy (Herman, PA). The Knights go into the WPIAL 1A 3 outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Summit Academy was crushed by Imani Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 88-40, in a league outing.
The Vikings now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Derry for a WPIAL 3A 3 outing on Thursday, January 18. Valley will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 78-63 league loss to Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-4.
