Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Archbishop Carroll knocked off by Germantown Academy

The Germantown Academy Patriots basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Archbishop Carroll Patriots to 32 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Patriots now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Agnes Irwin for a Inter-Academic contest on Tuesday, January 16. Germantown Academy will meet a Owls team coming off a 59-35 league loss to Academy-Notre Dame De Namur (Villanova, PA). The Owls record now stands at 6-6.
The Patriots (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Conwell-Egan Catholic (Fairless Hills, PA). The Eagles enter the Philadelphia Catholic contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Conwell-Egan Catholic ran past Archbishop Ryan (Philadelphia, PA), 50-41, in a league contest.
