Illinois High School Basketball - Thornton Fractional North knocked off by Thornwood

The Thornwood Thunderbirds basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Thornton Fractional North Meteors to 25 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Proviso East for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 14.
The Meteors (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Red Wolves enter the contest with a 5-10 record.
