In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Collegedale Academy Collegedale Eagle basketball team scored a good 56-41 triumph over the Berean Academy Eagles.

The Collegedale Eagle (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Georgia-Cumberland Academy (Calhoun, GA). The Jaguars go into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Georgia-Cumberland Academy topped Varsity Opponent (, ), 57-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Cedar View Christian Seahawks (Kingsport, TN) in a Freelance contest, on Friday, January 17. Berean Academy will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record.
