In Tuesday's non-league test, the Varsity Opponent (, ) basketball squad trounced the visiting Beth Haven Christian Hornets (Omar, WV), by a score of 80-40.
Next, the clash with the Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 14. Varsity Opponent will attempt to improve on its 292-1040 season record. The Lobos come into the test with a 3-11 record after their 44-29 non-league loss to Mountain View (El Paso, TX).
The Hornets (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Ignite Athletics (Hurricane, WV). The Flames come into the non-league test with a 2-2 record.
