The Bossier Bearkats basketball squad (Bossier City, LA), was nudged 55-50 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA)
With the victory, Huntington advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Raiders travel to Benton (Benton, LA) to meet the Tigers in a 5A District 1 battle on Friday, January 17. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 18-15.
The Bearkats now own a 11-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North DeSoto for a 4A District 1 battle on Thursday, January 16. Bossier will meet a Griffins squad coming off a 47-14 non-league win over Plain Dealing (Plain Dealing, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 4-6.
