New York High School Basketball - Martin holds off Bowne

The Martin Falcons basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Bowne Wildcats to 54 in the Falcons non-league win on Tuesday.
The Falcons (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Forest Hills (Forest Hills, NY). The Rangers come into the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Forest Hills edged Springfield Gardens (Springfield Gardens, NY), 81-68, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Eagle Academy III Eagles (Queens, NY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Bowne will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 50-0 non-league loss to Francis Lewis (Fresh Meadows, NY).
