The Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers basketball team scored 80 points and limited the visiting Signal Mountain Eagles to 42 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Buccaneers now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Silverdale Academy for a Division II-A East District 2 game on Friday, January 17. Boyd-Buchanan will confront a Seahawks team coming off a 53-33 non-league win over Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Seahawks record now stands at 6-11.

With the loss, Signal Mountain falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA) to confront the Colts in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Colts go into the game with a record of 12-5. Coahulla Creek lost 62-59 in their recent league game against Rockmart (Rockmart, GA)
