In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Henning Hornets basketball team scored a good 72-59 triumph over the Browerville Tigers.
The Hornets (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Verndale (Verndale, MN). The Pirates go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Verndale was topped by Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN), 81-63, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the St. John's Prep Johnnies (Collegeville, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Browerville will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Johnnies go into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 75-58 non-league loss to Hope Academy (Minneapolis, MN).
