The Spencer County Bears basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Bullitt Central Cougars to 48 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now have a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Collins for a District 30 game on Friday, January 17.

With the loss, Bullitt Central falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Cougars host Valley (Louisville, KY) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 0-10. Valley lost 64-38 in their recent non-league game against Frankfort (Frankfort, KY)
