The Camas Valley Hornets defeated the visiting Glide Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 53-37 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next, the Hornets clash with the Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR) in a 1A Skyline outing, on Saturday, January 18. Camas Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record.
The Wildcats (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR). The Lancers come into the 3A Far West outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, South Umpqua was defeated by North Valley (Grants Pass, OR), 59-40, in a league outing.
