The Campbellsville Eagles basketball squad (Campbellsville, KY), was crushed 85-63 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY)

With the victory, Russell County advances its record to 10-6 on the year. The Lakers host Southwestern (Somerset, KY) to meet the Warriors in a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 8-5. Southwestern lost 63-58 in their recent non-league battle against Adair County (Columbia, KY)

The Eagles now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host W.E.B. DuBois Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. Campbellsville will meet a Lions squad coming off a 64-33 non-league loss to North Oldham (Goshen, KY). The Lions record now stands at 4-6.
