In Tuesday's league contest, the host Prince of Peace Prep Irish basketball team scored a close 74-67 triumph over the Central City Wildcats.
The Irish (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Midland (Wyoming, IA). The Eagles go into the Tri-Rivers contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Midland was tipped by East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA), 63-46, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Springville Orioles (Springville, IA) in a Tri-Rivers contest, on Friday, January 17. Central City will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Orioles go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 63-35 league win over Easton Valley (Preston, IA).
