In Tuesday's non-league test, the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces (Mt. Carmel, IL) basketball squad trounced the host Cisne Runnin' Lions (Cisne, IL), by a score of 45-20.

Next, the Golden Aces clash with the Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) in a Little Illini test, on Friday, January 17. Mt. Carmel will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 9-7 record after their 60-38 non-league win over Roxana (Roxana, IL).

The Runnin' Lions (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Grayville (Grayville, IL). The Bison come into the Midland Trail test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Grayville was routed by Brownstown/St. Elmo (St. Elmo, IL), 78-61, in a non-league test.
