The Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV) basketball were winner over the visiting East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV), 54-40 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Philip Barbour for a Big Ten bout on Thursday, January 16. Robert C. Byrd will play a Colts team coming off a 55-44 league loss to Elkins (Elkins, WV). The Colts record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, East Fairmont falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bees travel to Grafton (Grafton, WV) to play the Bearcats in a Big Ten bout on Thursday, January 16. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Grafton lost 59-51 in their recent league bout against Preston (Kingwood, WV)
