The Florence/Henry Falcons (Florence, SD) basketball edged the host Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD), 76-69 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Britton-Hecla for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. Florence/Henry will play a Braves team coming off a 50-44 non-league win over Wilmot (Wilmot, SD). The Braves record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Northwestern Area falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Little Wound (Kyle, SD) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Little Wound won 55-48 in their recent league bout against Todd County (Mission, SD)
