The Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Geneva Eagles to 58 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now have a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Lake Catholic for a North Coast game on Friday, January 17. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin will confront a Cougars team coming off a 57-42 non-league win over John F. Kennedy (Cleveland, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Geneva falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to West Geauga (Chesterland, OH) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 9-4. West Geauga won 67-32 in their recent non-league game against Fuchs Mizrachi (University Heights, OH)
