In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host St. Michael Cardinals basketball team scored a big 62-34 triumph over the Greyhills Academy Knights.

The Cardinals (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Red Mesa (Teec Nos Pos, AZ). The Redskins enter the 1A North battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Red Mesa walloped Rough Rock (Chinle, AZ), 71-49, in a league battle.

The Knights now own a 0-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopi for a 2A North battle on Thursday, January 16.
