The New Site Royals basketball team scored 75 points and limited the host Hatley Tigers to 24 in the Royals league triumph on Tuesday.

The Royals now have a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Mooreville for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. New Site will confront a Troopers team coming off a 54-29 league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS). The Troopers record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Hatley falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to East Union (Blue Springs, MS) to confront the Urchins in a 2A Region 1 game on Friday, January 17. The Urchins go into the game with a record of 13-4.
