Nebraska High School Basketball - High Plains overwhelms Palmer

January 14, 2025: Polk, NE 68654

The High Plains Storm basketball team scored 76 points and limited the visiting Palmer Tigers to 32 in the Storm non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Storm now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Nebraska Lutheran for a D2 District 3 game on Thursday, January 16. High Plains will play a Knights team coming off a 66-24 non-league loss to East Butler (Brainard, NE). The Knights record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Palmer falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Fullerton (Fullerton, NE) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Monday, January 20. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 8-4. Fullerton won 54-49 in their recent league match against Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE)
