In Tuesday's league test, the Pembroke Spartans (Pembroke, NH) basketball squad trounced the visiting Laconia Sachems (Laconia, NH), by a final score of 70-34.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Oyster River Bobcats (Durham, NH) in a Division II test, on Friday, January 17. Pembroke will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 65-55 league loss to Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH).

The Sachems (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Bow (Bow, NH). The Falcons come into the Division II test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Bow was overwhelmed by Hollis-Brookline (Hollis, NH), 53-40, in a league test.
