In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Red Oak Eagles basketball team scored a close 36-29 win over the Leflore Savages.
The Eagles (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, OK). The Bulldogs come into the Rock Island contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Whitesboro was tipped by Smithville (Smithville, OK), 55-47, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Savages battle the Cameron Yellow Jackets (Cameron, OK) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Leflore will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record.
