The Winthrop Ramblers were victorious over the host Lisbon Greyhounds basketball squad by a final score of 52-33 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next, the Ramblers clash with the Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 16. Winthrop will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Black Bears enter the outing with a 6-5 record after their 84-32 non-league loss to Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME).
The Greyhounds (1-11) will now prepare for their outing against Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME). The Phoenix enter the B South outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Spruce Mountain ran past Maranacook (Readfield, ME), 84-32, in a non-league outing.
