In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Mamou Demons basketball team scored a big 76-30 triumph over the Welsh Greyhounds.
The Demons (19-7) will now prepare for their contest against Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA). The Rebels go into the non-league contest with a 18-9 record.
In their next game, the Greyhounds confront the South Cameron Tarpons (Creole, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Welsh will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Tarpons go into the contest with a 1-12 record after their 85-27 league loss to Johnson Bayou (Cameron, LA).
