Iowa High School Basketball - Maquoketa Valley succumbs to Marquette

The Marquette Defenders defeated the visiting Maquoketa Valley Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 80-60 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Defenders clash with the Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA) in a Tri-Rivers outing, on Friday, January 17. Marquette will attempt to upgrade on its 12-0 season record. The Lions come into the outing with a 8-3 record after their 65-50 league loss to North Linn (Troy Mills, IA).
