In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Mohawk Warriors basketball team scored a big 67-37 triumph over the Ridgemont Golden Gophers.

The Warriors (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carey (Carey, OH). The Blue Devils go into the Northern 10 contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Carey was trounced by Bluffton (Bluffton, OH), 77-36, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Golden Gophers confront the Temple Christian Pioneers (Lima, OH) in a Northwest Central battle, on Friday, January 17. Ridgemont will attempt to advance on its 11-3 season record. The Pioneers enter the battle with a 7-5 record after their 53-46 non-league win over Calvary Christian (Bellefontaine, OH).
