The Walled Lake Northern Knights basketball squad (Commerce, MI), was outscored 62-53 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI)

With the victory, Notre Dame Prep advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Fighting Irish host Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI) to meet the Dragons in a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. The Dragons enter the battle with a record of 7-5.

The Knights now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walled Lake Central for a Lakes Valley battle on Friday, January 17. Walled Lake Northern will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 54-42 league win over South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 9-3.
