The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ohatchee Indians (Ohatchee, AL) and the visiting Weaver Bearcats (Weaver, AL), observed Ohatchee's basketball team overcome Weaver by a score of 71-54.

The Indians (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Donoho (Anniston, AL). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Donoho dropped by Coosa Christian (Gadsden, AL), 84-66, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Wellborn Panthers (Anniston, AL) in a 3A Area 9 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Weaver will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 72-46 non-league loss to Cleburne County (Heflin, AL).
