The Spartans (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL). The Cyclones come into the non-league challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Cornerstone Christian was tipped by Ridgeview (Colfax, IL), 67-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Sabers encounter the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL) in a Illini Prairie challenge, on Friday, January 17. St. Thomas More will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Grey Ghosts come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 72-59 non-league loss to East Peoria (East Peoria, IL).
