The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Red River Bulldogs (Coushatta, LA) and the visiting Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA), observed Red River's basketball team overwhelm Southwood by a score of 64-31.
The Bulldogs (14-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Many (Many, LA). The Tigers come into the 2A District 3 challenge with a 11-11 record. In their last challenge, Many trounced Lakeside (Sibley, LA), 62-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cowboys encounter the Parkway Panthers (Bossier City, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Southwood will attempt to improve on its 14-15 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 59-57 non-league win over Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, LA).
