The Bishop O'Connell Knights basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs to 31 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Alexandria City for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1.

With the loss, Bishop McNamara falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD) to confront the Falcons in a game on Friday, January 17. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 0-1. Our Lady of Good Counsel lost 45-44 in their recent league game against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC)
