The St. Pius X Sartans basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Del Norte Knights to 47 in the Sartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Sartans now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Los Alamos for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. St. Pius X will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 40-27 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Del Norte falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Hornets in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 1-6.
