The Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Okemos Wolves to 33 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15.

With the loss, Okemos falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to East Lansing (East Lansing, MI) to confront the Trojans in a game on Thursday, January 16. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 4-1. East Lansing won 67-54 in their recent non-league game against Davison (Davison, MI)
