The Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Alma Center Lincoln Hornets to 47 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now have a 6-5 record.

With the loss, Alma Center Lincoln falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Independence/Gilmanton (Independence, WI) to confront the Indees in a Dairyland - Large game on Thursday, January 16. The Indees go into the game with a record of 10-3. Independence/Gilmanton lost 63-54 in their recent non-league game against Whitehall (Whitehall, WI)
