Next, the Wildcats encounter the Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) in a 1A Smoky Mountain test, on Thursday, January 16. Andrews will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 10-2 record after their 68-39 league win over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC).

The Bears (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Maroon Devils come into the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Swain County was knocked off by Highlands (Highlands, NC), 43-32, in a league test.
