Nebraska High School Basketball - Twin River can't get by Aquinas

The Twin River Titans basketball squad (Genoa, NE), was nudged 57-51 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE)

With the victory, Aquinas advances its record to 9-4 on the year. The Monarchs host Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE) to meet the Crusaders in a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. The Crusaders enter the battle with a record of 6-6. Grand Island Central Catholic lost 62-34 in their recent non-league battle against York (York, NE)

The Titans now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cross County for a C2 District 5 battle on Thursday, January 16. Twin River will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 64-19 non-league win over Heartland (Henderson, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 11-1.
