Nebraska High School Basketball - Lourdes Central Catholic nips Auburn

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Lourdes Central Catholic Knights basketball team scored a close 35-31 triumph over the Auburn Bulldogs.

The Knights (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE). The Indians go into the D1 District 1 contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Weeping Water nipped Mead (Mead, NE), 64-13, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Auburn will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record.
