The Bluegrass United Bluehawks basketball squad (Lexington, KY), was outscored 45-26 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY)

With the victory, Pendleton County advances its record to 6-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY) to meet the Bluejackets in a District 38 battle on Friday, January 17. The Bluejackets enter the battle with a record of 9-5.

The Bluehawks now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bourbon County for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 16. Bluegrass United will meet a Colonels squad coming off a 87-19 league loss to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 7-7.
