In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Fort Towson Tigers basketball team scored a close 37-35 triumph over the Boswell Scorpions.

The Tigers (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wright City (Wright City, OK). The Lumberjax go into the McCurtain Six contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Wright City nipped Haworth (Haworth, OK), 73-32, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Scorpions battle the Clayton Bulldogs (Clayton, OK) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Boswell will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 9-4 record after their 42-19 non-league win over Braggs (Braggs, OK).
