Colorado High School Basketball - Brush overwhelmed by Merino

January 14, 2025: Brush, CO 80723

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Merino Rams (Merino, CO) basketball squad trounced the host Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO), by a final score of 68-27.

Next, the Rams clash with the Stratton Eagles (Stratton, CO) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 18. Merino will attempt to upgrade on its 9-0 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 7-1 record after their 48-33 non-league loss to Sedgwick County (Julesburg, CO).

The Beetdiggers (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Yuma (Yuma, CO). The Outlaws come into the 3A Patriot test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Yuma was overwhelmed by Simla (Simla, CO), 48-41, in a non-league test.
