The Espanola Valley Sundevils basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Capital Jaguars to 32 in the Sundevils non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Sundevils now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grants for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. Espanola Valley will confront a Pirates team coming off a 38-31 non-league win over Shiprock (Shiprock, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, Capital falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Pecos (Pecos, NM) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 9-4. Pecos won 36-29 in their recent non-league game against Mora (Mora, NM)
